I've searched and searched but I can't seem to find any solid info on a urethane strut mount bushing for the LCA on 96+ civics (where the shock fork mounts to the forward control arm). ES makes a bushing for the 88-95 civic but shows nothing for the 6th gen. how can this be? I know someone somewhere has had to have replaced their stock bushings without replacing the whole arm (which is what Honda would have you do; I asked). Yet Honda themselves offer replacement shock mount bushings for the 5th gen civics but, again, nothing for the 6th gen? Is there something I just don't understand about the 96+ chassis? Please, help me solve my dilemma. If we need pics, I can take pics.
I know they include them in the Master Kit. Thats around $120. You need a press to put them in, or some people do it with certain size sockets and c- clamps.

energy shows no number for the 96+ but prothane shows the part is good for 88-00. since the rest of my bushings are prothane i guess i'll call summit and get the set (pn 8-901). here's to hoping prothane knows what they are doing....
