Can someone tell me how to link my remote back to the car? The remote case is cracked and causes the battery to disconnect. Then when i was getting ready to go home from work my remote wouldn't open the doors, but when the alarm goes off it shows on my lcd remote.

Can i just disconnect the battery? I need my car to get around i can't get the remote to work.

 

Does the car have a back up battery. You can try that to see if it will work.

 

No back up battery, I left the car battery disconnected for 4 hours and it still sounds off when I reconnect. I have both a toggle switch and button under the dash for the alarm which one can i use to disarm? Please help I want to avoid leaving my car at work over the weekend.
