Default 96 hx auto to manuel converted. Squishy brakes

I did not do the conversion i recently bought the car. The brakes dont work intill the pedal is basicaly to the floor. I have no grinding nothing. Master cyclinder is leaking or anything like that. Im gunna try to re bleed them. And see if i get any pressure back. Any suggestions?

Bleeding the brakes is a good start, if that doesn't help it can be the master cylinder.

Even new ones can be bad. A new master cylinder should be bench bled before it used. It's a lot easier.

Is the fluid in the master cylinder reservoir low?

Also check for leaks from the front calipers and rear wheel cylinders. Air must have entered the system somewhere.
