Does the A12 pin from the ecu go directly to the same circuit that the thermostat is wired to?

when the ecu signals pin A12 active that pin goes negative switched out..there is continuity between pin A12 and ground and when pin A12 is not active the circuit is open.

If i find whichever wire on the thermostat when grounded turns on the fan, this wire should go to Pin A12 <-- this is what im trying to figure out.
