Shaking issue on a 95 Accord wagon LX with H22 Type S
So recently it seems this issue has been more aggressive then before.
Here is the recent history of the car. 95 accord wagon lx with a h22 type S with 5 speed conversion with innovative mounts, power steering.
Whenever I accelarate I tend to have vibration. From what I remember the vibration was not like this before but recently it feels more aggressive. I cant seem to figure out the problem. When the swap was done the all the belts were changed along with the water pump.
Help me figure out this problem please.

is it light acceleration or WOT?
and where does it feel the acceleration is coming from? left side, right side?
and assuming you feel it in the steering wheel?
anything on deceleration?

Nothing on deceleration
I feel it in the steering wheel plus the vibration shakes the cigarete tray where I leave my coins.
The acceleration comes from the front wheels, I cant tell from what side. The car has LSD.
Its during pretty much any form of acceleration, more of course during hard acceleration.

I can easily eliminate the placebo effect in this cause because its pretty aggressive. I will get a alignment done soon.
How old are the axles?
Many people rule them out or dont even think about those, the inner joints will vibrate on acceleration when they are bad. Go under neath and at least see if all the boots are good.

The engine swap was done about 25k ago at the same time the axles were replaced, I will verify the condition of the axle this weekend. Last time I checked they were great.

do you have a lighter flywheel? I've been told a lighter flywheel will make acceleration not feel as smooth. When I swapped my auto for a manual, the manual had a lighter flywheel and for a while i was afraid my powertrain was about to fall out with this wobbly feeling. A heavier foot quelled that wobbling.
Yea I have a fidanza flywheel, 9 lbs I believe.
It just seems like its a lot more vibration since before. Thats interesting to know though

i second getting the alignment checked/ mounts or bushings... question for your though, dont mean to thread jack just a quickie, Hows that h22 pull in the accord wagon?
I also have a Mazdaspeed miata, so its hard to say which one is faster considering the RW drive of the miata.
But it has a nice hard pull all the way through. I cant wait to do the Euro R manifold and the hondata ecu and a nice tune by Church. This will hopefully get rid of the slight bogg I get.
G35s get pissed at me since they are surprised how well I keep up
.
haha very niceeee, sounds good. Yeah i got you... but damn those g35 coupes are fresh looking ha, cant argue that. but anyway back to the original purpose of this thread ha
