So I am not exactly sure how this happened because the last time I drove the car before I left town was Friday the 16th and it was driving/shifting fine. This is on my 1990 Honda Accord.
When I parked it, I was on a steep hill. I pulled the e-brake, turned the wheels towards the curb and left the car in neutral.
So I get home last night, go to get gas, and as I am shifting it is REALLY rough. I go from 1st to 2nd, let off the gas, press in the clutch, clunk/pop noise/car jerks. It gets into 2nd gear fine, pulls fine. Same thing happens when I go to 3rd, 4th etc.
Now when I shift and I give the car some gas(tach is around 1k)it shifts smoothly. What could be the problem?
I've never owned a car with a manual transmission before, but I imagine there are signs that a clutch is going bad and it just doesn't happen over night. Right?
Now, I want to point out when the car is in gear, it drives smoothly and pulls fine. Only when I shift into a gear and do not give the car any gas does it jerk/pop.
Any ideas guys?

If you're not getting any resistance or grinding while shifting, I wouldn't suspect the clutch just yet.
If there is difficulty shifting, then I'd suspect that you should look for fluid loss in the clutch master cylinder. IF it's found low, you may have sucked air and subsequently lost clutch release travel.
A second thing that comes to mind....
I'd look for a motor mount which broke/separated as it sat parked on a hill. I'd look at both the front AND rear mounts first.
IF you left it in gear (you said you didn't) AND the emergency brake wasn't up to snuff, the entire weight of the accord would have been concentrated on those mounts. If one was weak from age.....

Yeah, I left the car in neutral with the brake on and the wheels turned to the curb. And I believe the wheels were pressed against the curb.
