Do Luck Bar.. REAL OR FAKE?
since this was made before i was born i figured i would post this on the flame capitol of the world before i put this on my car thinking its real.
These are shitty pics of a Do-Luck Rear Crossbar i picked up.. i was told their were 2 version of this and this might be the "newer version" but after looking at a real first gen one and looking at this im not sure.
the version i looked at had 3 nuts. 2 to lock and one to adjust.. or maybe it was 2.. but this has one

the other version the end was L shaped.. this one isnt

lastly is the picture of the plaque.. both look similiar

Here's my authentic bar for comparison:

You can see the ends are flat pieces in much better shape than those and without the "nubs" sticking out. Also, there is no badge or nameplate on my bar. It's possible it's in the hardware bag but doubtful. All I see it contains is a sticker, a wrench, and instructions I can't read.
Yours doesn't look anything like mine. I can take better pictures for you this weekend if it'll help. Based on what I see in that one, I wouldn't buy it.

That plaque looks fishy. I cant recall seeing a Do Luck bar with a plaque like that.
I know Arospeed, a knockoff company from back in the day, made a bar like that for awhile.

I've got one with three locking nuts, no plaque and one knib at either end that you drill a hole into the frame and then spead the brace apart to push outwards against the chassis and yes mine is 100% genuine.
