Icon2 Blox 490 shift ****

i found one online for $48 SHIPPED. I'm jumping on it if it sits as low as an M1 Abrams. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge with this ****?

how about an arch **** or something else? what about a SKUNK 2? ya, thats all i ever hear about, but is it really worth it since doesn't it appear to sit nearly as low as some others?

The Skunk2 will definitely sit higher due to the locking nut. A spherical **** will sit lower.

jaepalm,
did you end up getting the ****?
it's supposed to be 490 g, whereas skunk2 is 440 g. I was looking at the blox spherical **** too and was wondering if you ended up buying it.

I just purchased that **** off ebay from JHPUSA. $43 and some change with $5.99 shipping. I installed it without the lock nut. The engraving is not lined up but that’s not the point. Dropped the height by about 1/2 inch or more. Heavy, great feel, going to be a hand burner in the summer for sure.

so is this **** countersunk like the m1 abrams? in your pics, it definitely looks higher than the m1 even when not using the locking nut.
do you like the height of it?

I have no idea the depth of the of the threaded socket of the M1 to compare it with. That is the same ? I asked several vendors without any answer. I have a rubber grommet underneath the top of the shifter boot to keep it tight at the ****. The **** stops at the top of the taper where the lock nut would stop. It is not hitting the taper but might give you an idea of how deep the threaded socket is.

I like this **** so much better than the factory tear drop. I just wanted to lower the shifter without getting a short shifter assembly. Worked well.
