i have a lsv with a gsr head and i have p30 pistons in it but the rings are going out, so i have another block that im boring to 81.5. my main question is what has more compreshion the jdm p30 or the itr piston?

P30 will make more compression than an ITR piston

 

are you running any type of cams with that compression?

 

type r cams skunk 2 intake and blox 68mm throttle body

im going to put blox b's when i get the new block and a rmf header with apexi exhaust

 

that will get you 180-190whp ans bout 154-156ft.lb. on wheels. pretty much same set as mine but i got itr piston with 85mm over bore on gsr block
