Skunk2 pro 1 cams breaking valvetrains??
Has anyone else heard that there are issues with pro 1 version 2 cams breaking valves? What's the issue if they are and what's the solution from their manufacturer?
If they are breaking valves, chances are you have high compression pistons, didn't check all your clearances (claying your motor) and the valve smacked the piston. Or you were just unlucky and they just hit anyway.
Does that answer your questions?

No I understand that. I was told skunk2 was contacted regarding this. It was not a simple piston to valve clearance issue. I am skeptical to the story as well and suspect the cams were not degreed properly
if a valve spring is too stiff, it can snap the head of the valve off, also making it drop into the chamber.. what valvetrain are you using?
I would just Like to confirm or deny the rumor. If it's not the cams I will go ahead with my build and ensure they are degreed right when it comes to my motor.

well it has to do with cam timing not product i got pro1's with pro springs almost 2 years rev up 2 9k all day np either u over rev u'r motor or cams 2 advanced.
Just wanted to bring this back once more. Got the Pro 1s after all degreed them in had some problems on the dyno. So we set them straight up and they worked a little better. Also anyone running these with pretty loud valvetrain?
