Swapping a D16Y5 into my Stock 97 DX Civic
Hi,
I'm in need of a new motor and stumbled upon a D16Y5. I understand this is not a direct swap. The owner does have the ECU but not the wiring harness. Can I run the extra wire and still use my DX harness? Is there a guide for this? Do I need a harness conversion?
I know the O2 sensor is 5 wire, but can I still use my DX header/cat?
I cannot use the same injectors, distributor, or intake correct?
Sorry, I am new at swaps and need a motor ASAP.
