About the Car…
This vehicle has gone from a standard daily duty Civic to a daily driven bottle fed ¼ mile slayer to a trailer queen show car that spends over 95% of the time in the garage under a car cover. The car was originally changed from a standard Civic to a weekend racer by the Midwest’s infamous NickW, a local car enthusiast and photographer. Nick had the engine/transmission installed, and with it, the A/C, power steering, and cruise control removed for weight and horsepower savings to help quench his quarter-mile thirst. It was then sold to a newcomer to the car building game, Skyla Bruns, who had the cruise control reinstalled and drove the car daily until an accident involving the driver door and a roommate’s car led to the decision to have the whole car repainted and turned into a full blown show car. Full Throttle Paint & Body massaged the sheet metal to remove all the pesky door dings and other small dents and/or imperfections, and the car was re-sprayed in the factory Vogue Silver Metallic paint color using DuPont Chromabase paints to ensure high gloss, show quality paint job.
The car was completed and driven to Atlanta for a weekend at the Atlanta Motor Speedway where the 2007 Nopi Nationals car show was held. It was then hauled up to St. Louis for the 2008 Nopi St. Louis car show. After that, the car took a trip to Nashville for Import Alliance 2008. The only other time the car is out of the garage is for various local events and sunny days.

This vehicle is no longer used for getting groceries or going to work.
It is a show car that has been photographed for use in various magazines and has recently been photographed for a feature in an upcoming magazine article.

The car will come as pictured here.

If you're interested, our asking price is set at $OLD, but we are entertaining serious offers.

FAQ

Q. Where was the car painted?
-A. Full Throttle Paint & Body in Lebanon, MO

Q. Why are you selling it?
-A. To help pay for school.

Q. I am interested in the car, but don't have the full amount right now. Will you hold it for me?
-A. We will hold the car for you with a $1000 non-refundable deposit.

Q. Is there anything that the car needs?
-A. It currently needs both upper ball joints and a driver's side window regulator that are going to be replaced upon sale of the car. The window goes up and down just fine for now, but sometimes it seems to go up and down a little croked, and without replacement it could become a serious problem. With the ball joint replacement, Skunk2 Pro ball joints will be used to replace the old style that it currently has, and the car will also get an alignment.

Q. I'm looking for a car with A/C and power steering. Does this car have them?
-A. No. The A/C and power steering were removed by the previous owner. They can be reinstalled, as the car has provisions for them, but the new owner of the car will need to do so if they wish to have those ammenities.

Q. Will you part the car out?
-A. NO.

Q. How much is insurance?
-A. Do to the nature of the insurance industry and the variables involved from one driver to another, you will need to check with your insurance provider to see how much your individual policy would run for this vehicle.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you for looking!
