Default Civic EK - 1.4 swap to....

I have a Civic EK running a 1.4 atm... I'm interested in an engine swap something round 200bhp or abit over is my objective.

My plans are fitting a JDM B18c engine which stock gives me 197bhp.

I was making some research and found out about stroker kits. I was thinking maybe fitting a b16a and put in also a Stroker Kit.

What do you think please?

You could do an H22a a bit more work because you need to run a cable shifter vs rod... its easy though.

F20B motor a slightly different swap, has the same cable shifter.

or go for broke with the K20 swap which is probably your best bet for get up and go.

I wouldn't fool around with a B16 or B18A, the B18C is just way too over done.. do something unique and don't let anyone criticize you for doing it but that's my 3 cents.

I enjoy my H22A EG very much! loads of fun to putt around town in.

The h22A/K20 will make much more tq then a 1.8 liter, same with the F20B.
