Default f22b accord ex and acura cl transmission question

doing a jdm f22b sohc swap in my friends CL. looks like a plug and play swap other than the oil pump, cfs and probably dizzy since the car is a 1997. on the trans, will the autos the jdm importers have fit, work ? i know most of the f22b's came from accords in jdm land. are these transmissions compatible? axle size? length, mount location etc.?

trans will bolt up, but the question is will it work electically?

sounds like you are putting an obd-1 engine into a obd-2 car and if that is the case swap all the sensors from old to new engine.

exactly what i'm doing. on the engine i've figured out what to switch from searching. on the trans. this was my question as well. i haven't had any experience with hondas automatics. what does the ecu look for on the transmission sensor wise? are they easy to change out from the usdm obd2 unit?
