Default OBD1 RPM signal

Need to get an rpm signal for an aftermarket tacho.

Is pinout A21 - ICM what sends the signal to the factory tacho in the cluster or does it get the signal directly from the dizzy? If so, which wire?

I've been searching but i'm stuck....

Thanks for any help
