hi i got a first gen b16a cable trans with a grind shifting into third. can i take the good condition synchros outta a ls trans and put it in my trans?

 

Nope. Synchros aren't causing the grind anyways.

 

well ppl who have done synchro/hub repairs where did yall get them from?

ha yea right they dont have that car at a dealership. iv done that before with some other parts for a "jdm" b16a motor and they had no clue what a SiR was! is there a usdm counterpart? cause thats all they have is usdm

 

Not that I'm aware of. Place I use is a yahoo store that sells OEM trans parts from Japan. Had it saved on IE which I had to erase so I'm trying to refind it myself.

Synchrotech might have the parts available.

 

Cable B16 = 90-91 LS except for the gearing.
