Default Any thoughts on Ebay replacement 02 sensors and EGR valve?

I was hunting around on Ebay for the 02 sensor (rear) and EGR valve that need replacement according to the codes my '97 is pulling.

Anyone here ever used some of these cheaper brand parts that Ebay offers?

I priced these parts at Autozone and the o2 sensor alone was $125.. I can get a brand new one on Ebay for $45!

The EGR valve isn't much cheaper on the 'Bay but every little bit helps!

Thoughts or experiences?

Is there a particular dealer or store that sells "real" parts and a fair price?

I can tell you this much, the guy I bought the Accord from said the he replaced the EGR valve on it with an expensive unit from Autozone. it lasted less than a year! So maybe no one makes a good replacement??

If that's the case I'd rather spend $45 once a year than $125 once a year!

with honda you need to stay away from non oem emissions equipment. While very few people have had success, most will be back with in a very short milage timeframe wishing that they had spent the extra up front for OEM parts.

you can usually resolve EGR problems by cleaning out the ports and EGR valve.

what were the codes. there is never anything wrong with egr valves.
autozone is fing stupid and will sell you whatever part the code mentions without care what caused the code.

and do not use bosch sensors.
