Icon2 wtf? started fine yesterday, now now spark..

yesterday:just put in my vitara z6 build, started on 3rd try.. ran for about 20 minutes and when i tried to press the gas a little it died, so i'm assuming it's running way too rich.. i have precision 880's and a walbro 255 on a s100 phearable basemap. while it ran i also timed it to stock and ran fine after, until i revved it as i said before.

today:buttoned up a couple things today, and tried starting it again, started once, but had to keep it almost floored to keep it running whatsoever (remember, didn't have to do anything like this yesterday). pulled the plugs and they were black and soaked in gas.. had fuel coming out of the d/p as well. started looking further into it, and i'm not getting spark at all.. tried opening the gap a little as well to try and get a bigger spark but nothing..

go easy, this is my first swap AND first build..

93 civic EX,
z6 vitara on FJT custom length rods (compression was 160-162 across the board)
precision 880's
walbro 255
s100
crower springs and retainers
75mm vitara's
FJT custom length I beams
Holset HX35
Custom twin scroll manifold

any and all help is GREATLY appreciated..

how did you find out you weren't sparking? were you cranking the motor with the plugs that were soaked and looking at those? If so buy new plugs, and get tuned..

If you are having fuel drip from your downpipe you are majorly rich.. Why even start it? You'll wash your cylinders out

Well now you know it started fine, smell the oil to see if it's contaminated with fuel. If so, change it, and save for a tune before the motor gets damaged with all that fuel. Don't get an urge to go drive it or start, if you do. don't.. just think of how much time and money you spent, would you want it going all down the drain because you didn't wait to get it tuned?

Just be patient my friend.
