Default Itermitten starting problems

I have a 2001 civic with approx. 90k miles. At times it only cranks but doesnt start. It takes a couple of tries and then im on my way. This has been happening for the past 2 months and does it maybe 3 times a week or so but this week its become more frequent..... Once its on, it runs like a charm.. Any ideas ??

Thanks

When the car refuses to start; can you still hear the fuel pump come on before you try starting it?
