New PB 9.51@156 H22 with a CRAZY ending!
Update on Page 5! 9.37@160.94
I finally met my 9.50 goal after making a few changes to the car... Two weeks ago i corner balanced the car and made some alignment changes then went to the track on some old slicks the car went 9.90@154 spinning 1-3 but i did see some improvements on the short track. So I decided to try out the new M&H 24.5/9.5/13 and i guess they worked lol! The only other thing i did was take of my full 4'' exhaust i don't really know how much of a difference that made because that wasn't the only change...
After making the pass i noticed the car was idling pretty high so i looked around a found a CRACK all the way down the throttle body side of the intake manifold! It happened some time on that pass

Here is the CRAZY part.... I was racing the 9.50 index class and was #1 Qualifier out of 8 other domestic cars lol! I got a bye run in first round so i just cruised it because i knew i had the crack! In round 2 I was racing a 69ish Camaro that runs 9.20-30s. so i new is was gonna be a good race! It was getting late because of 5 oil downs earlier... The track was getting cold and slick but the track officials were doing there best job.
I launched the car and 1st wasn't to bad it spun but as soon as i grabbed 2nd it was worse so i pedaled it... as soon a i did that I saw the car on my right wash out and come into my lane RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and HIT THE WALL!!! I hit the brakes as soon as i saw him move over... so i drove across into the other lane to avoid hitting him, when i did that his throttle suck open and shot back across almost hitting me again before he hit the other wall really hard! I looked it the rear view mirror and saw him on fire but still chasing me so i hit the gas once again to get away! I stopped right at the traps jumped out and grabbed my fire extinguisher and ran back to him. I was the second on there he was being helped out out of the car and was in a lot of pain! It was a really bad crash hitting the wall 3 times before coming to a stop! I am praying for him and hope he is ok...I will let y'all know as soon as i hear something about him...
I did catch most of it on my go pro and my incar acted up and didn't get the in-car vid till after.

Great job on driving . .
I always wondered if you would get yelled at for stopping on the track and helping someone that crashed. . . I would have done the same thing. .

Good job thinking and reacting fast, I always have wondered how fast I would react in a situation on the track because you go from being so focused on racing and then have to make decisions so fast.
