No spark in cyl 3 (CEL 73) and CEL 74....new plugs, wires, ignition coil...HELP!
This is on a 2000 CR-V, the car started throwing CEL's like crazy after the first cold night we had here. All ignition related, random misfire on all cylinders. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and ignition coil. Car ran great afterwards but still threw CEL's and I didn't get a chance to check the codes again. Well, two nights ago the truck starts running like complete crap and gave CEL 73 and CEL 74 (random misfire cyl 3 and 4). The plug for cyl 3 is wet with gas, when I pull the plug wire to it while its running nothing changes. So obviously no spark is getting to that cylinder. I switched around the plugs and wires and it was still cyl 3. So I know the plugs and wires are fine. I took the dizzy apart again and everything looks fine. What the heck am I missing here?? Please help!
