theres this on guy criaglist whose been trying to sell hes civic type r swap for ever for a lot of cash, but it needs a tranny. i was wondering can any tranny work with a civic type r? hes price for the whole swap just keeps going down and down and down, if it goes down to a point where i could get it for cheap, i think i might buy it. so help me out please thanks,

 

Any B series manual transmission will work with a civic type R (b16b) engine.

kool kool well that answered my question lol, does any 1 know where to get one online? i heard some scary *** stuff on this fourm about buying locally from criaglist so i dont want to go down that route

 

if you can,try to find a local seller that still has the tranny in the car so you can drive it before you buy it
