Default Looking for Best ride for DD EK

So i picked up a EK. Now im on the hunt to lower it. I dont want 3" drop or anything extreme

Im looking for a nice setup that will be nice. I dont want to feel every nook in the road or every pebble. this is just strictly for Daily driving no auto X or drag racing for me.

I looked at the sticky of the shock dyno's and read the koni site about the dyno's and i couldnt understand what they meant..lol

I was thinking of these setups

H&R Race Springs or Eibach Sportlines
KYB AGX
Bilstein
Koni Street
Koni Red

Out of these choices I would pick the Bilstein with H&R or Eibach springs(win, win situation there) Bilstein shocks are one of the best out there, if it wasn't for the non adjustable part I would have kept these.

the race springs are low, stiff and require a great shock. the sportline is a maybe. shocks? really, take your pick. the koni streets are the cheapest. depending on how much drop you want the only thing you really have to worry about is spring rate. i would look up the spring rates on whatever spring you are considering and compare them against each other.

ya thats where you guys come in spring rates are just numbers to me and shock dyno's are just confusing. so putting the math of both of those componets together i have no clue which are the best combo for comfort

koni sports are great... lifetime warrenty, can't beat it!.. as for springs.. i've had the sportline springs.. and they were nice and comfy.. the only complaint i had was it didn't lower my car enough.. in fact.. when i first got the car.. it had them on it.. and i didn't even know... it drove as comfortable as stock .. with a tiny bit stiffer spring rate... so i guess it didn't have as much body roll as stock springs would... so if you want ult comfort and your not to worried about lowering your car very much i would go with koni/sportlines... and as for what idrivesideways said about the H&R race springs is completly true... i had them on an EG hatch with tokico illumina's and i kept blowing struts every few months.. it kinda sucked... cause right after i replace one corner another would blow! lol...
