Default OK so my 92-93 GSR tranny turned out to be a LS tranny RIGHT???

I have a 88 CRX Si with a B18CR swap mated to what I was told was a 92-93 GSR transmission w/Quaife LSD (Same as B16 transmission) 22X8 slicks

I very rarely drive this car on the street, until today I had only raced the car down the 1/8th mile with a best of 8.93 @78.61mph. I was hitting 3rd towards the very end of the 1/8th mile.

Well today I took the car to the 1/4 mile track. I hit 3rd right before the 1/8th mile and stayed in 3rd all the way through the 1/4 crossing at 100mph on 22" tires.

The only marking on the tranny is YSK-1.

Is there any question this is a LS transmission?

All 92-93 Integra tranny's have the same cast markings and YS1 designation. You have to compare the gear ratios sorry.

Thats what I did, according to the calculator it would be impossible to do 100mph in 3rd with 22" tires @8200rpm unless you have an LS tranny.

Anyone know who can custom build me a transmission. I want to utilize my Quaife LSD in a B16 tranny with LS 5th gear.

same happened to me. guy thought it was a GSR. i took it apart and counted the teeth and it was an LS, but he gave me my money back and told me to keep it.
so i put a 4.4 in it with an ITR LSD.
longer gears still, but it will be with a B20vtec in a sub 2000lb car. i think i will survive just fine. compared to what i'm coming from i'll never know the difference
