Default Infiniti G35: Pearl Explosion

Whats up guys
Got a chance to brighten up a G35 today. She wasn't too bad but she was in need of a thorough claybar treatment and polishing. Lots of door dings/paint scuffs. Rail dust covered the trunk and rear bumper, and she had a thick layer of road grime all over :hsrun:

Anyway I'll let the pics do the talking. :thumb:

Started with the motor

Before:

After:

Then during the wash:

Claybar!!!

A few examples of the paint scuffs / door rubs

After Shots:

Note: Daylight was fading fast so I couldn't get a ton of angles with the sun or get both sides of the car. Anyhoo, I was pleased with four hours worth of work.

Thanks for checking it out

Nice job.

Washing and cleaning a white car is very hard.

Real nice job, the pearl is shining again!

What did you use to clean the windows?

Thanks!

Its kinda funny... I was using a RainX aerosol window cleaner/water repellant and it ran out less than halfway through the car. I was supposed to detail the interior of his car as well but we were pushed for time and I couldn't go get more supplies. I ended up knocking out the windows with a DuPont surface cleaner and crossed my fingers. Worked like a charm with no streaks!!!

Nice job. White pearl - is a hard wash color.

P.s. What's this in your hand?

Its a clay bar When you use it correctly, it pulls contaminants and impurities from the clear coat that washing will not do by itself.

Default Infiniti G35 Pearl Explosion

Infiniti just shoots itself in the foot with their re-sale. The old M45 will be a 20k vehicle next year. Sad. But a great deal.

I am very interested in how the M45 will take on the GS/E/5. Well see.
