95 accord, want come out 2nd
whats up guys. ok i know nothing about automatics and how they work
my father has a 95 accord and it will not shift out of 2nd
my wifes old cb7 use to do the same thing, it would shift from 2nd either
if anyone has any ideas on the problem help is greatly appreciated
one of my old friends i use to work with said it could be the computer module thing
for the tranny. i dunno thanks guys

I'd guess it's been quite some time since the last trans service, and I suspect several of the spool valves have stuck from varnish buildup.
BG manufactures the machine and the chemicals to do the job.
After the flush, ask them to refill the tranny with Honda OEM trans Fluid.

Hopefully they'll find something hideously damaged which will justify the overhaul.
I'm sorry, I come from the school of "Unless certain, try the cheap stuff first" auto repair. I hate spending customer's money as much as I hate spending my own.

well, if the transsmission control unit senses a severe problem, it will put the trans in "limp mode" and will only let the transmission go from 1st to 2nd, and go into reverse, and go into park of course. i would check the codes on the car to see if the it has any trans codes.
