ok i have 84 accord dx 5speed


and car is not idling right cold and once warm up it wont hold idle
hesitation bad going from 1k to 4.5k and once over 4.5k it act fine
and it has high HC and wont pass smog for low or high speed



i changed
spark plug and gapped to .40
new cap and rotor
Checked timming and it Good
new air filter
changed oil
spark plug wires
Cleaned PCV work good
new cat


what can i do to make this ride run good and maybe pass smog

 

Yikes, you've got one of the most complicated Hondas to try and tune right there. You did good tuning up the basics. Now I think the next thing you should do is check for vacuum leaks. There are so many lines, that one cracked dried up hose or one vacuum leak is a recipe for all sorts of drivability issues.
