Hey i need a DIY on how to wire my fog lights for my 1999 civic dx, i have them installed i just need to wire them, and i also need a DIY on how to install a short shifter, thanks!

 

Googled for maybe 20 seconds. Shorter then making a thread LoL

im sure there are more detailed instructions for the shifter.. i found fog lights diy but the shifter info is very vague... its not specifically for my car or even the same year, i was lookin for better instructions.

 

k so i wired the fog lights and now i need to know how to do the short shifter. would it be safe for me to go under the car and take off the bolt(s)? i will have an extra stand under the car for safety and i will have the jack obviously lifting the car up. is that safe enough, cuz i dont wanna go under the car without knowing wtf i am really doing haha

 

take it to a shop would be best if your unsure how to jack it up and how to place stands for saftey

don't want you to get hurt, or have someone show where to have the stands/jack

 

Have FOUR stands under the car and put them as high as they can SAFELY go.


-Remove the shift ****.
-Remove the 12mm bolts on the bottom holding the assembly up.
-Remove the 10mm bolt and hold the other side thats flat with vice grips.
-Swap the bushings in the same order you removed them.
