195/55/15 falken 912
does anyone have a picture of a type r with 195/55/15 falken 912 on it that i can see the size and look of, im looking at these tires for a day to day on my type r should i go with that size? go larger? lemme kno what you guys think, pick my tire size
for a type r with 15in wheels the two tire size you should look at would b 195/55/15 or 205/50/15, the falken is offered in both sizes so its up to you the price different wouldn't be much either
195/55-15 is good.
The Falken Ziex ZE-912 is not a particularly good tire. It's an okay all-season tire. All-season tires are designed for those who have to use the same tires in snow and frigid cold as in moderate to warm temperatures. In exchange for that added flexibility, they don't perform as well in moderate to warm temperatures as summer tires (and they don't perform as well in winter conditions as winter tires, either). If you need all-seasons, there are better ones on the market, such as the Goodyear Eagle GT and Kumho Ecsta ASX, both available in 195/55-15.
If you don't drive in snow and frigid cold, you can get much better performance from a summer tire, such as either the longer-lasting Yokohama S.drive or the supersticky Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec, again, both available in 195/55-15.
