Can anyone tell me if the wings west rs kit for the crx comes with pre drilled holes?

nope u have to drill em yourself, have a bodyshop do it trust me, fitting is a hard thing to perfect

 

Nope, no holes in any of it.

Takes some modification front and rear metal bumpers to make the kit fit, along with some other stuff (have to cut holes for license plate light, reposition exhaust, etc)

 

yea, you have to drill your own holes. one good thing about urethane is you can use a heat gun or blow dryer and make it flex a little bit. comes in handy when you do the door caps/sideskirts

How do the door caps mount? 3M tape?? or do you have to drill the door panel?

You're encouraged to screw though the door into the door caps too...

You leave the factory sideskirts on but you have to remove the molding and the black plastic at the bottom of the door...

 

Just wanted to say : The previous owner of my car put the kit on and fits like ***. Get a professional body shop to put it on, it will be well worth the money!

 

make sure you take your time on it. use a spray adhesive so it will stick better. especially the door caps.

 

yea the door caps can be a pain. do use screws from the other side of the door though the 3M tape doesnt hold forever.

 

I used bulldog adhesion promoter on all the surfaces I stuck the tape.

I use the 3m tape that came with it and in addiction got a tube of urathane black glass glue/sealant they use for winshield and it stayed on forever and stiff *** hell.. i have this on both my brothers car and mine.. his been on for 3 years no probs.. mine been over a year and still on there...

Example of a shitty install. I bought the car and it looked like they used caulking to attach ****. I would also recommend rivets versus screws. They look a little cleaner, and are a bitch to remove. (damn thieves found out the hard way)

yea i thought it was a stock color but wasnt too sure. My stock color is red too but i decided to go with something darker from a 2002 Acura TL San Marino red.. I've seen ur car with the 96 gsr wheels u had before but i never wanted to post my pics .. Dunno why.. i've decided for the first time on this post. hehe. Is ur ef turbo charged? Im in the process of doin it.. juss wondering if u were boosting.. i wanted to see some setup pics.. in the engine bay..

it doesn't come w/ any drilled holes. And remember that the fit SUCKS. so don't predrill anything on your kit yet until you fitted w/ your car. Trust me, i learned it from the hard way

Just take it a professional and have it put on... if they mess up you should have sort of warranty.. but if you mess up, your car will just end up going to the professional... so why screw yourself when you can do it right the first time.

And for god's sake... please paint it right after you put it on.
