i need to do a bike exhaust and was wondering if anyone knew where i could find ti bends ranging in size from 1" to 2.5"

i doubt you will find a place that stocks ti bends, www.woolfaircraft.com these guys can bend what you need.

 

ok, here is another question, since there are very few sources for these, i suppose the demand for them is quite low, but if i could organize a group buy for some, what sizes would people want? i imagine 2.5" and 3" would be the most common, but what other sizes?

 

The good grades of Ti don't bend all that well, they really gall badly and work harden.
The demand is low, but for sure 2.5" and 3" could sell.

 

why not use some 18 or 20 gauge 321 ss ?

 

Woolf wants $150 a bend with you supplying the material, i've been there, that was for 3 inch .035 wall, the problem is that they have to tool up for the operation, not sure what wall thickness your looking at but... good luck

I have a shipment of ti cp2 1.75" 0.049 coming in a few weeks. This stuff will bend, but it typically only bends on larger radiuses. The stuff makes 321 look like mild in terms of cost though.
