Default 93' Accord Distributor Bearing Replacement

Greetings,
The bearing on my 93' Accord has started to make noises.
I checked the price for a new distributor and unfortunately it is way too expensive ~ $800.

Could you please provide me with the steps needed to replace this bearing? I guess I need to replace the O-Ring and the Seal as well.

The repair CD that I have does not show enough details.
A exploded diagram and/or picture will be very much appreciated.

Thanks and regards

Ista

Most of the distributor parts are non-serviceable from Honda. Even something as simple as the shaft seal has no listing.
If you can manage to disassemble the unit and break it down, you MAY be able to find replacement by going to a bearing supply shop and have what you need matched.

It would be simpler to just secure a used unit or locate a reman unit. They both would be the cheapest and least aggravating route I can think of.

Greetings to all,
Thanks for the info.

Would it be possible to get the shaft assembly?
How much will it cost to get the housing?

Since I live in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada?
How much will the S&H be?

regards

Distributor King has the best prices and lifetime Warranty.
They come complete with rotor and cap. I have dealt with
flying_pat for many years and he takes his parts seriously.

Look them up on eBay also.
