or is it like the nsx and has a aluminum chassis and won't rust

i've had bare metal in my wheel wells for nearly 2 years now and so far it seems like no signs of rust... but how can i be sure i dunno....

if its aluminum and doesn't rust i will be EXTREMELY relieved

I am almost positive that the wheel wells are not aluminum and thus they can rust. However from what I have seen the wheels wells are one of the least likely spots to rust.

should i sand it down and primer it?

what should i sand with and the methods
