Post Waxing and using clay bar

hi guys i've never really known how to "wax and clay bar" my integra/any car..

i've only used spray wax and i heard it makes your paint turn dull..


can anyone give me tips on using clay bar/brand/ & what type of wax

-how to exactly use claybar-def* of what it does would help too!

advice much appreciated!

go to walmart or whatever and get a mothers clay bar kit, it will come with the detail spray that you use for the clay bar lube. if you have the money to spend, go to autogeek.net and get some of the higher end clay and some optimum no rinse and use that for the clay lube.

claying your car will remove any of the contaminants that are embedded in your clear like overspray, sap, etc.

as for wax, thats a whole other thread. what color is your car?

if you wanna go all out, after you clay bar the car, you should do some paint correction/buffing/polishing, then wax

it is tafetta white i think. planning to paint it way later to champion/frost white but for now i want to work on waxing and buffing/etc.
