Quick review of MPG tips
1) New 02 Sensor
2) Cap, Rotor, Plugs, Wires
3) Tire Inflation
4) Motor and Trans oil
5) **New/rebuilt Distributor
6) Measure properly. Fill up at your favorite station, at your favorite PUMP. Zero out your trip odometer. Drive around. Go back to same station, SAME PUMP. Fill car. Note miles, and how much gas it took. Do math (Divide the two #s). Do same test 2 more times (same station, same pump, zero out each time).
** I've heard this, is this true?
Wheels and tires make a difference... weight, rolling resistance and all that.
