can the throtle body adapter get rid of rev hang
a lightweight flywheel would make the rpm drop faster all around, but you'd still have the rev hang. i have no idea what you meant by being "doomed with the type of tranny." hondata said that the flashpro gets rid of it.

I have noticed a slight improvement since using flashpro calibrations with rev hang.
And I am also curious as to what you mean by "our type of tranny and being doomed"?
There are new tables in fpro which allow the throttle plate tables in relation tothrottle position to be adjusted. I don't really understand them so haven't messed with them yet. But I wonder if they are for adjustment of the DBW
Does anyone know what those tables are for in the flashpro software?

The rev hang has absolutely nothing to do with the transmission. It is a fall back of the DBW, and is computer controlled, which is why the flashpro helps it the most.
Hondata said on their site that the rev hang is due to some gas still being spit into the cylinders for a split second after you let off the pedal (please excuse me for not using technical terms) and it is in fact corrected with Flashpro as previously stated.
What he said and expanded. Honda added the "feature" to help control emissions from the car when the throttle closes up. A Flashpro or a Accessport can fix this in a limited way.
However, the best advice I can give you is, get used to it. It really isn't that bad. Driver the car for a few thousand miles more and you won't notice it.
