Default dry cell battery question

I know alot of ppl are relocating their batteries in the trunk but i was wondering could i put the battery in the dash? Took out the heater blower box and have room in the dash, so is it reasonable to mount the battery against the firewall? thanks in advance.

Yes you can put a dry cell anywhere you want. Just make sure its secure, you don't want a 50lb battery coming at you in an accident.

Ok cool. its an odyssey battery and it says it only weighs 15 lbs and its gna be in passenger side so sucks for them. But ima make a housing and keep it bolted (maybe welded) to the firewall so it wond go anywhere.

Is it the odyssey pc680? If so, passwordjdm and summit racing have mounts for them that allows you to bolt the battery to the inner frame rail on DA's and EF's. You should be able to use this mount and just bolt it to the firewall instead. The one from summit is much cheaper.
