I am currently swapping an LS into my EK hatch, and I was wondering if I would need to change the throttle cable to an LS one or would the single cam one work fine? Your input would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

 

Y7 or Y8?

 

I dont know on the EK, since I own an EG, but when I swapped an LS into my EG getting the LS cable was a $15 piece of mind.

 

If there was a Y7 in there you will need an ls or y8 cable.

If there was already a y8 then you're good to go.

 

its is a y7, get a 99-00 si throttle cable
but a y8 will work.

yes get a B series cable. DA's and Dc works.

 

DO NOT get a gsr throttle cable. Listen to the man above. Si (b16) y8 or ls.

 

getting a Y8 or LS cable is ideal, however the Y7 will work properly you'll just have a lot of extra cable to deal with and tuck out of the way.

since it seems to be cheap and simple, go for the Y8
