mini me B2? or A6? Nitrous?
ok heres my problem, or question
i wana do a mini me swap, i have a dx with multi point swap. "d15b2" would doing this on the dx block be a wast of time? should i invest more money to a d16a6 bottem end? also im debating on rebuilding the bottem end anyways so should i go with the a6 or the b2 bottem end? and im pushing 200k+ on my b2 engine. what do you guys think would be the most logical and efficent way. i do plan on boost, someday. but for now a healthy lil strong motor with a lil power in it is fine. basically i just wana figure out if i should start looking for an A6 block or rebuild parts for my B2.

yes...if you need the zc sohc camshaft which is pretty much like the d16a6 but just slightly better, i got one for sale...pm is the key if interested...!!!
ok so i basically got this figured out now ill just keeep my block and get the y8 head, with a few other things but what if i wana run nitrous. nothin big just like a 50 shot. do you think it will be able to take it? would like to go direct port too for more even shots to each cylinder. what do you guys think now?
beside the camshaft what else will i need ecu? throttle bodie? intake mani? dizzy? i wouldnt need the cam if i was going to just swap a y8 head on right?
so its possible to do a vitara build in a D15 block with a d16 crank and rods? cuz it was stated earlier that the blocks are the same? same bore and different stroke?
pertaining to the subject just go with a vtec head you can find them for between 100 and 150 any day of the week and they flow a ton more than any non vtec head does but if your wanting to stay non vtec go with a Y7 head they are the best flowing non vtec head except i think the d17 heads out of the 01-03 civics but those are not easy to find and y7 heads are cheap

Replacement heads must be identical to the original part. Head swaps from different years, engines or makes are illegal. Aftermarket heads or valve train components that are not made to the same specifications as the original parts require an Executive Order to be legal for street use.

you got it...you might be able to pass smog depending if you keep up maintenance but your set up is illegal and if you get nailed by the one time they will send you to the state ref to make it back legal...!!!

or ls vtec, b20 vtec? are all of these illegal in cali?
as far as the cam swap you WILL need either a y8 cam gear or an adjustable, i chose y8 cuz it looks good and is like 15 bux from the dealer.
my set up is a d15b1 with an si cam
si trans
stock style (i think) clutch with a f1 racing stage one pressure plate and stock fly wheel
ebay 4-2-1 header
ebay test pipe
2.25" cat back piping with a big resonator.
z6 intake manifold with an ls t/b
y8 3 layer h/g
stock air box with an aftermarket piping
pm6 ecu
thing hauls *** for a single slam. lol can't wait untill i convert to obd1 and throw on my z6 head.

all them combinations are illegal...you can either swap out your motor with a replacement motor,do a engine change or swap out the b2 camshaft for the zc sohc or d16a6 camshaft and convert to mpfi with the d16a6 intake manifold...!!!
