My comptech exhaust has been on my gsr for 150k and needs new bolts and gaskets.. am i best to source the gaskets from autozone and get the bolts at a hardware shop or can i buy some sort of kit?
Any autoparts store should have the gaskets.
As for the bolts, don't go cheap. Get some good grade 10 metric bolts. The off the shelf stuff at Lowes and HD will not cut it.
By the way my Comptech Exhaust lasted 10 years about 100k, limited snow. The bolts are still OK. It only needs two new gaskets. I removed it to replace it with a custom 2-1/2" exhaust.

nice 10 years! hah i bought the car from the orginal owner and he put it on when it rolled about 64k. It has seen snow every winter , so thats my guess on why she is starting to spring some leaks. I think where the resinator is pressed in is starting to seperate also. I'll see if i can grab the bolts from the industral shop down the road.. he has the expensive ****. I gotta say i love this exhaust and wont get rid of it, ill do what i have to, so i can stop the leaks.
