definitely not, unless you convert to mpfi. It is probably MUCH cheaper just to find another pm5.. People practically give them away.

Around me they go for about $50 because everyone and their Mom want to do an automatic to manual conversion... but they still keep it DPFI...

I have one for sale. (check link in sig.)
Not sure if it's auto or manual... seems to be manual, but I keep getting conflicting answers when I search and I haven't opened it up to find out.
Auto should run on a manual car - throws a lockup solenoid code though.

You sure the flood killed the ECU?
Have you tried opening it up and drying it out?
It's manufactured with the entire board being sprayed down with a protective conformal coating that keeps out moisture. Should keep everything dry except the connectors.
Worth opening up and looking for burnt parts.

It does. Problem is that 37820-PM5-L80 is coming up as manual tranny AND California emissions auto tranny.
I had 2 PM5's. One came from my stock Cali LX auto and the other was from a manual DPFI.
I destroyed one of them and used the plugs to make an OBD1 jumper harness... not sure which 0_o

Guess I have to open it up to see what it is.

L80 is automatic. if the last 2 digits are 50 or higher, it is an auto.
