Clifford Alarm Avantguard 5.1 HELP!
Ok so I have a Clifford alarm avantguard 5.1. my brother did something will the battery and now its all messed up. When I unlock it the alarm goes off but the doors do not open even when the alarm is on the doors wont open. I have shaved door handles so the only way to get in is though the hatch. Is there anyway I can get them back? Dont know to much about this alarm. Please help me.
Try rebooting system, disarm alarm using plain view switch, unplug alarm brain, wait a few min. and plug brain back in, reprogram system and remote(s)...

is that the one with black jack?? but just reset the alarm.. and see if you are getting a trigger from the alarm to trigger your door pop for the shaved handles if thats what you have

oh and BTW i don't know if i mentioned before but it was just when i used my remote it wouldn't open but if i got in the car thur the hatch and hit my open door switch it would open but now it doesn't do that either. might be the wiring?
I would check wiring, it is a good bet that the "EXT" outputs of alarm are being used to activate the door solenoids, [H1/6 blue/white, H1/16red/white and/or H2/8] one for drivers door the other for pass. door.
The low current ground "EXT" outputs will control relays and the relays will supply high current power, [or ground] to the door solenoids.
How exactly did you open the doors before your brother "messed it up"? 94

What do you mean "keyless entry on remote", the lock/arm-unlock/disarm button(s)???
The Violet(+) Door Trigger Input - Zone 4 is not used on Honda/Acura, also it is an input, [for door triggers] not an "EXT" output. 94

oh ok and yeah when i armed the alarm it would lock and when it disarmed it would unlock. when i hit the button now it still locks but doesn't unlock and i can still open the rear hatch with it too. i can pretty much still do everything with it but unlock the doors. well im off to school ill be on around 12 trying to fix this. ttly and thanks for the advise so far
OIC. Door handle but no door key, I should have picked that up when you said, "pulled of a four door integra onto my two door." a few posts down, from your first one, I was working on the assumption the doors were shaves, "I have shaved door handles so the only way to get in is though the hatch."
So the question is are the actuators, [door lock motors] stock or aftermarket?
It makes no diff. other then how they are wired, your alarm has door lock relays built in, [wiring starting on page 20, H2 harness on page 8].
You said they lock but do not unlock, "when i hit the button now it still locks but doesn't unlock" that means the actuators are good and wiring into doors is good if aftermarket or OEM wiring is good if it is a stock door lock system.
The alarm brains door lock outputs can be tested, locate brain, find and inspect wiring from H2 harness, [door lock wiring, there are 6 of them, 7 if you count 2nd door unlock] how many of the 6 door lock leads are being used, what colors are they? 94

or and what kind of lock sytem does a acura integra type r have? its a stock one.
Type A: Three-wire (+) pulse controlling factory lock relays.
Type B: Three-wire (-) pulse controlling factory lock relays.
Type C: Direct-wired reversing-polarity switches. The switches are wired directly
to the motors. This type of door lock system has no factory relays.
Type D: Aftermarket actuator-driven systems. These include slave systems without
an actuator in the driver’s door but with factory actuators in all the other doors,
since these can be controlled with the installation of an aftermarket actuator.
Type E: Electronically-activated vacuum systems. This requires special programming
of the system.
Type F: One wire system.

Type G: Positive (+) multiplex resistor-based circuit.
Type H: Negative (-) multiplex resistor-based circuit.
which one of these?
