my buddy just got a 89 crx si and it was running slow as hell i ran the numbers and its a d16a6 block that some idiot put a HF d15b1 head on it but it appears that they put the d16a6 intake manifold and dizzy on it so we found a d16z6 head for pretty cheap but theres no intake or dizzy with it and im wondering can we swap the a6 intake manifold and dizzy onto it or do we need the d16z6 intake manifold and dizzy?

 

You can swap both distributor and Manifold.

 

okay thanks and one more question a non vtec valve cover wont fit on a vtec head correct?

 

Look at a VTEC Valve Cover, then look at a Non-VTEC Valve Cover, answer is quite obvious.

 

haha yeah now i see sorry kinda new to single cam

 

dizzy doesn't bolt up perfect though. only one or two of the "ears" will line up, just an fyi. it will still work though
