need honda part # for this plug

Default need honda part # for this plug

i cant find any part number online for this plug on my h22a...it goes into the head near the vtec solenoid. i have marked it in the pic. there are 2 in this location one is bigger and points towards the fire wall and then there is the one i need that is smaller and points to the pass. side of the car.

I think he means the bronze plugs not the sensors....

Freeze plugs?

I don't see any on that area of the head.

what im looking for is im guessin a freeze plug, but it screws in and uses an allen key. i have taken the honda diagram below and put a green square around it

Find the thread pitch on it and start sifting through mcmaster carr. easiest thing to do would be to go to a junk yard. You can also get a bigger plug and re-tap it to fit.

Actually, I know the thread pitch on that...hang on, let me check my records.

its #6BSPP, not sure of the pitch, but thats what you're looking for. I don't have any spare heads lying around, but I looked on the McMaster site and they don't have any individually, have to buy them in large packs.

Best bet is to go to a junkyard or find someone parting out a head.

I doubt they sell it, but why not call the local dealer instead of asking people here who don't work there?
