<B>UPDATE: DIY RESULTS START ON PAGE 2</B>





Ok im thinking of doing a DIY for my eg clock. I know there are write ups to using divider tabs. But i think thats too ghetto. Plus i cant find them damm dividers. So i was searching and came to these. I plan on opening the clock and laying a piece of this film on top. Just indecisive as to which one would look better with my JDM SiR cluster. As far as color wise. Here are the links. Let me know which one is better and ill purchase it and try it on. And post pics of all the work. Plus the outcome.

Note: i will install properly, not just lay it on top. I will add the water and use the squeegee to make it look like a tint. Should look sick. Plus its only 8 bux. And i can sell the rest of film to you guys for like a buck. Shipping included. Cuz i know sure as hell i aint using all that sheet of film.

TTT....help me choose a color to try and get the JDM amber look. So i can purchase asap and do this.

Not exactly. I just dont want to get red and let it come out looking pink. Or get amber and it dont look amber enough. I want it to match my SiR cluster as much as possible.

So please leave your sarcastic responses aside if your not gonna contribute. Im trying to do this for all the people that were looking for this film. And instead decided to put divider tabs.

 

Thats smoked amber. How the hell does that work? Its for the eg clock. Might even try putting it on the climate control also.

are u talking about the dark amber color for like sidemarkers and what not, or are u talking just amber cause thats more of a yellow

 

No just amber like the JDM clusters. Plus my other selections already come with a squegee...etc to install. LoL

 

then go with the orange one, thats about as close as your gonna get

 

Well notice on those links i got on how they look after the light shines thru them. Red looks pretty close too. But i might stick with orange since the clock doesnt have that much of a light output to shine thru the red.

 

the stock one is close to that red, so i think the orange one should be damn close to what you are looking for

are u talking the screen covering or the actual numbers, cause the clock i know of and have seen is white numbers with a redish tinted plastic cover

just try it see how it looks if it looks like **** which it prolly will then try a different color. its not that complicated....

And for the others that helped thanx. I just ordered the amber one. Should be here by the end of week. Ill post the pics of before and after and how i did it. Hopefully it comes out good.
