how the heck do u get the side molding off the door of a frekin 88 hF crx? ive been trying to get this thing off for almost an hour. i have gotten it to slide forward about 12 inches and then back about the same. but it just wont come off. and i dont want to bend it. its going on a show car. and my paint deadline is the 12th of november... so wtf. help me out pleasE!!! thanks

he means the plastic on the middle of the doors? not the window one

 

i think it requires taking off the door pannels and leaving the windows rolled up in order to pop the clips out from the door

have u ever done it personaly on a 88 HF crx? because there are no clips on the inside of the door other than the lower molding. there is a boxy rail thing on the inside of the door right where the clips WOULD be. the door is stock btw. any other ideas kuzz number 1 and 2 failed.

 

bump. please anyone that has removed the side molding properly please help. PLEASE!!! ive got paint in a month and i have to get these off! trust me your all gunna be in awe when u see the final pictures. ill make a fatty build thread when the cars complete. gfi built.
