yeah id say replace your mounts, especially the rear motor mount!! (that mount does the most, when it comes to stoppin the vibribrations) its a big difference when swapping from a d to a b-series (torque and weight) so get the mounts!

im not sure which brand 2 reccomend, but when i did my swaps (my civic and crx) i used a window sealer, filled in all the gaps in the mounts, and then added the poly-urethien(sp) inserts to cover it all up! let the sealer dry before installing them.... after that I had minamal noise

What kind of mounts does the engine have currently? They're probably aftermarket mounts in there already. If you want to reduce vibrations you're better off picking up some OEM ones. As the guy before me said, the rear engine mount is perhaps the biggest cause of vibrations, i'd change the front and rear if you weren't going to swap all 4.

You're wondering why you have a lot of vibration... And you're missing an engine mount?!

Oh vibration? You need the all Billet mounts, that will rid you of the problem!

I only run 3 mounts and vibration is not all that bad, are you idling at like 200 rpms to get bad vibrations? What mounts do you have?

It should be the opposite, the more solidly mounted your engine is the more vibrations you'll get. So rubber would be better then urethane for vibration (but not for performance)

I don't think mounts is your problem. Look at your exhaust system, is it properly clearanced away from the body and are all the mounts in good shape?

Are you get a vibration at idle? if so most likely not your mounts. possibly your exhaust. or something else is rubbing against the chassis of the car causing it to vibrate.

or is when your driving? ..(taking off in 1st? changing gears?) clunking type of noise? if so. then yes possibly a mount issue.

or if your running an aftermarket mount..(hasport/inserts/innovative) yes they can cause a vibration because they are stiffer so that there is less engine movement.

and what you look at this. if you need mounts i got a set FS CHEAP

it's not just ls's, it's engines other than d-series in general. d-series stock mounts are a lot more squishy and forgiving than pretty much any aftermarket mounts for a different series engine. because of this you will always get more vibration back through the car when going b-series, h-series, etc.

I had hasport mounts in my EG and that **** vibrated like crazy b/c they are still.

I have innovative mounts that came with my CRX and they feel like they give more. I haven't been able to start the car yet b/c im waiting on parts. But I have a LS motor. I think innovative makes a soft set and a hard set. The red inserts are the soft set. If you want less vibration do NOT go with hasport. My brother has them in is car and it's going to shake the dashboard lol. Though I would never buy anything other than hasport if I was going aftermarket. They make a quality product and the fitment is very well done. I was thinking about swapping mine for hasport mounts but my car is just for fun not a daily driver.

If you have a B series in a EF or EG you should only be using 3 mounts. The front transmission mount gets removed on the CRX and it's not needed on both models

I have a question. I'm planning on doing an LS swap into my EF hatch. I understand that you only need the 3 mounts from hasport,etc... I was also told you need a rear L mount from a DA. Is that true or do you only need those 3 aftermarket mounts?

I've used the innovative steel mounts for more than three years now with no harsh vibrations at all.
