Anyone know how to fix this problem of the brake getting locked up randomly and I can't start the car because there is absolutely no power. What I mean by the brake locking up is when I can't push the brake all the way in. Like how the steering wheel locks up. Anyone know if it's some stupid aftermarket modification or something? Somehow it just randomly unlocks and I get power back magically.
Also I have a loose terminal on the battery a AAA guy said and that it needs to be fixed as soon as posible.

 

It seams to happen every time it rains to.

 

Everyone I talked to said they never even heard of a brake locking up.

 

I would take it to a shop either it is something to do with the caliper or the brake booster would be my guess

 

isnt that normal for the brake the lock when theres no power to the car? at least it does it to every car i've ever owned. when you start the car the pressure releases and your pedal works again.

 

I really think it is the alarm aystem that is on there from the previous owner. It first happend when I activated it. It seem'd messed up and the buttons didn't work that good and the battery cover is held on by tape. There is also a slash across the lcd screen. So...... I heard the beeping noise from the alarm then I tried to start but nothing then the brake locked up....... It does have remote start but the car is a 5 speed...... It tries to start with the remote start but doesn't... it tries 3 times then stops.
So I'm going to take it to the Compustar Pro dealer to have them take a look at it and probably remove it. I don't want that crap happen to me when it's 2 degrees and snow up to my knees a couple months from now.
