Is this like last years event that was put together and organized by Tom@Camp1320 ???

I asked TOM but he said he is not involved in this years event and does not have info.

I hope it is just like last years event, maybe someone knows some of the Famoso folks and can kindly ask them for some info.

I called up the track and they said that it is tentative. They should know after the California Hot Rod Reunion on Oct 16-18. She did say in case if the event does not go through they will have a test and tune that weekend.

 

damn i wont be able to make it be in vegas for the sema show. it was fun last year though hope it happens

 

They said it might not happen because they dont have anyone to run the event. If anyone has experience in running an event, contact famoso asap!

haha. you know I would be down to, but we're super busy that week. We'll be in Vegas with our booth at the SEMA Show. So we'll be in Vegas Nov 1 to the 6th. We tear down the booth on that friday night or saturday morning, so it'll be difficult to get out there right away.

There's several other people that are qualified to do this that may have the free time to give it their 100% that weekend. I'd love to help, but I cant that weekend with SEMA just the day before.

 

Is there anyone else who can organize this event??? The dates are set and all.

Tommy would have been the best for this. Last year everybody gave him and us racers props on the event. Even famous Bill Condit came on Honda-Tech to tell us how impressed track operators John and Blake Bowser, and himself were with all the racers that showed up and how clean we left the track. We were even told that for 2009 they were going to have two events for us.

I talked to Tommy already and he will not be involved in this years event.

I wish I knew how to organize this stuff but I don't know anything about Tech or setting up classes or how to even make a flyer lol. All I know his how to show up to events and race the car.

Last year there were over 23 cars trying to qualify for Street All Motor at this event. Last minute change, they made it a 16 car field!!!!!

its just such bad timing cause of the sema show i know we could get somethuing together but it to little to late! next year! were working on something!

 

Just a heads up to Everyone, the event has been cancelled.
They will have a Test and Tune on Nov 7th . Gates open 7am and run from 9am-4pm
