crx turbo questions
i have a 91 crx si (d16) and i looking into getting it turboed. now here is my question a guy in town offered this to me for $250
"evo8 turbo with adapter flange 550 injectors and srt4 front mount" he said it need the "blow off valve, charge pipes, and downpipe". im new to the whole turbo thing so is that a good deal? also i have to keep the AC i live in texas its hella hot here in the summer.
do all those parts even work on the crx?

you will need a manifold that will allow for ac along with inter cooler pipes a tune(i hope you are obd-1) missing link(or new map sensor that can handle the psi)

they will all work with the right modifications made, but nothin turbo will be a direct fit for you.
as far as the package you mentioned....id say its "ok" but you still need more stuff then the seller told you...and id also say if you looked around you could find a better deal.
but the extra stuff that the "seller" forgot to bring up are;
-engine management (id say just get a chipped ecu with either turbo edit or crome... well if you stay obd-o run turbo edit)
also you need oil lines, and to tap your oil pan for the return line.
unless you find a good deal on a turbo manifold and down pipe.... it will get costly getting that stuff made for your set-up.
id also say go with a new fuel pump, you also would need couplers for all the piping, and some other misc. stuff like vac. lines, gaskets and screws...etc.
boosted honda's are a blast to have.....but id just reccomend, read,read, and read some more when it comes to boosting your car... that way you have a better understanding on whats needed and what purpose it serves.
if you need any help or info just message me, or just start the research phase of your build!
